Well I finally decided to stop being lazy and do some reviews although after this one I definitely have remorse about it. I knew I should have just turned around and gone home when I saw two non-old-greek people standing behind the counter. So I picked up the sav and chips and gravy and thought that a sav is best reviewed fresh, well I guarantee that the sav wasn't fresh even straight after buying it. It had been there for at least 15 minutes and the batter had definitely come into contact with fish sauce (fish sauce melts sav batter) and the sav itself was under spiced ... my recommendation is to only buy when you see them cooked or go somewhere else.

Until next time

I made the trip down to Condor Shops to get some mince for dinner when I was hit with a bad case of Sav lust, I decided to see if the quality of sav had improved any since the last time I was in there. I went in and they seemed a little busy but they had no savs in the warmer so I thought what the hell the price was only $2.20 which is only a little bit higher than the last time I submitted to the site. So the lady behind the counter put one in the fryer and soon enough I had it in my hand lightly salted. I bit into it and it wasn't too bad the batter was crisp but the spices were a bit overpowering, but when I got to the middle the damn thing was cold, not frozen but cold and that is not a good way to enjoy a sav. I think next time I'll make the trip down to the Banks Takeaway instead.
