This sav is a fairly important one in my opinion - it is the first takeaway where I experienced the 'massive sav'. Ever since this takeaway was recomended to me by a mate i have frequently visited it to get a sav or two of awesomeness. This sav i got to review was hot and quick but i thought i should scientifically test it's best quality. It's massiveness. This sav was 25cm long. Thats about 10 inches in the old money. Thats gotta be close to the biggest sav in canberra and if anybody knows a takeaway where that figure can be outdone i'm all ears. I dont mind spending the extra 20 cents over the average 2 dorra to get a 10" inch sav over the average 6-7. there will be people saying - quality over quantity my friend, and i totally agree, and thats why im scoring this sav an 8.9. It's flavour is sublime, and it's batter is awesome, and size - well that just crazy, but it does have an odd buttery taste - not a biggie but thats the reason it's not scoring a 9 or 10. All round though - i really respect the crew at florey - they make savs of the highest quality. (on one occasion they did'nt have gravy for my shnitzel but the lady assured me they do have gravy sometimes...). Florey was also the location of the original 'sav challenge'. I belive it was chosen because it is the home of the 'Sav of Champions'
